Ordering and Shipping
"I requested a drum to be made during the first full moon this year. James did wonderful work. He puts all his heart into his work. Thank you so much." -- D.B.
Contact us through the Contact form to see what inventory we currently have and for pricing. We do live shows throughout the year so our inventory changes often. If you are interested in an item we don't currently have in stock, we are happy to create custom orders. Please include the details on the Contact form such as the size of drum and type of skin you want. We typically work with elk, deer, horse, bison, cow and goat skins for our frame drums. Djembes and Grandfather drums are built as a custom order only.
To place a custom order we will require a deposit of 50% of the item cost. Typically the item is completed within 30 days (depending on the number of orders we have). A frame drum with a handmade shell takes on an average of 10 hours to build. A djembe takes about the same amount of time for the initial build, but then it takes a few weeks to tune it properly.
We ship our drums in the USA through UPS Ground. All the items we ship are insured for the cost of the item. If your drum or rattle arrives damaged, please photograph the package and the damage, then contact us immediately and we will start the necessary steps for reimbursement through UPS. Please retain the packaging while this is underway. We do not ship outside of the US.
We will invoice you through PayPal for the item cost, plus packaging and shipping. We will let you know what the Pack and Ship cost is before we invoice so you know what to expect. When the Invoice is paid, we will ship the item to you and provide you with the tracking information.
